ProPlayLive.com recently went live. What is it? It’s the newest poker training site that has taken months of groundwork. The site has a very impressive list of instructors including two World Series of Poker Main Event Champions and numerous WSOP bracelet holders.
Greg Raymer is the lead instructor for the site and said “Since mid-2008 we’ve been steadily building up our video library. We now have a formidable amount of poker training video content spanning a wide variety of poker games and buy-in levels.” The video library has been created by names such as Tom McEvoy, Bill Chen, Annie Duke, John Lukas, Erik Seidel, Alex, Outhred, Shawn Rice and Mark Kroon and many other instructors will be joining in the next few months. The staff has a combined income of over $20 million in poker tournament winnings and 18 WSOP bracelets.
The Director of Customer Service is Beverly Pipes and she commented on the videos, “meticulously edited to squeeze as much information and learning value into as short a time as possible while still maintaining the integrity of play because rarely are any actual hands cut out. So the student still gets to see the good, the bad, and even the ugly misread or bad beat but without long pauses and delays commonly found in other poker training videos.”
She also commented on other sites and how they differ, “there are a number of good poker training sites in the marketplace today, but their instructors are predominantly online poker players who the general public has never heard of” and the difference is ProPlayLives “approach was to offer great poker training for both the online player and the live game player who visits casino poker rooms or plays home games and do it with instructors that have proven live game success.”
The site already has over 100 videos created and are still creating more. The videos cover everything from multi-table tournaments that range from $11 buy-in to $1,050 buy-ins, cash games from $0.50/$1 to $100/$200 and Sit-N-Gos ranging from $22 up to $2,200. They believe in customer service and guarantee to answer your emails and even create new videos based on customer’s ideas. They offer two different rates for their clients a monthly plan fee or a bulk buy. There is a onetime initial setup fee but those interested in the bulk buy, that fee is waived.
